will get pulses racing Aug. 19
Heart-stopping feats, aerobatics maneuvers, formation flying and solo routines by military and civilian pilots will return to the skies over Atlanic City Wednesday, Aug. 19 for the annual Atlantic City Airshow “Thunder Over the Boardwalk.”
There will be flybys and demonstrations that reach up to 15,000 feet and as low as 50 feet 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. over the water in front of the Atlantic City skyline. Performances and demonstrations are scheduled with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, U.S. Army Golden Knights, the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center Convair, the Red Eagle Airsports 2-ship Aerobatic Demonstration and many others.
Presented by the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa, the air show is free. It is a community partnership between the Greater Atlantic City Chamber; the 177th Fighter Wing of the N.J. Air National Guard; South Jersey Transportation Authority; FAA William J. Hughes Tech Center; The Atlantic City International Airport; David Schultz Airshows LLC, the city of Atlantic City; and the Atlantic City Convention and Visitors Authority.
