SEA ISLE CITY - Each year, the Sea Isle City Environmental Commission hosts a Turtle Party to benefit their popular guided beachcomber tour program. This year, the event will take place on Sunday, May 18, at 6 p.m. at the Lobster Loft Restaurant, 42nd Place and the Bay, Sea Isle City.
Tickets cost $15 per person, which includes a buffet dinner, door prizes and dancing to the music of Frank Brad.
During the summer months, twice each week, guided beachcomber tours are run by volunteers who explain the many natural wonders found on New Jersey’s beaches and waterways. The guides educate the public about important environmental issues and offer interesting facts that many seasoned beach-goers never knew. The tours, which last for approximately one hour, cost only $1 per person, and are considered by many to be the best way to spend a morning on the beach.
